Frequently Asked Questions
Questions we already know the answer forI need an app for iOS and Android. Which platform should I start with?
First of all, you need to determine the budget that you lay for the development of the application, as well as the functionality. Further, depending on the budget and functionality, you can choose between native and cross-platform mobile application development. When comparing cross-platform and native development, we can say that both approaches provide high scalability and a high-quality user interface. However, the implementation of your application using cross-platform technologies is faster, since the code base is implemented for two platforms at once. This approach is suitable if you need to launch the MVP version of the application as quickly as possible while taking into account low development costs. Unlike cross-platform tools, native app development relies on Android or iOS apps. Native apps are written in languages supported by the device's OS vendor. Typically, in native apps, users can take full advantage of complex features that involve the device's hardware.
Do you provide a warranty for the mobile app?
Yes, the warranty for the application is from 1 to 3 months, depending on our agreement with you. During this time, we will fix the errors you find free of charge. One condition is that the source code of the program must be unchanged.
I have an unfinished app. Can you improve it?
We will finalize your application, provided that the technology stack on which the application is implemented matches ours. This will require initial requirements, design mockups and source code. We will study the documentation, review the layouts and application code. We will understand the state of the project, give a conclusion and estimate the labor costs for finalizing the application.
How much does app development cost?
There are two most common models of financial interaction between the customer and the development company - Fixed Price and Time&Materials. Fixed Price - the price for the project is fixed and is most often used in projects with clearly fixed functionality. Usually, in projects that are implemented under the Fixed Price scheme, after the contract has already been signed, it is very difficult to make changes or additions. Time and Materials (T&M) - this type of contractual relationship assumes that the work will be paid upon completion, while the development team must first analyze the project in terms of what tasks need to be implemented, and also give a preliminary estimate. The T&M scheme allows the customer to make changes to the requirements, and the development team to implement them painlessly.
How long will it take to develop a mobile app/web app?
Just like the cost of implementation, the deadlines are highly dependent on your requirements and wishes, after the formation of the initial requirements, we agree with you on the terms and dates for the implementation of the project. Typically, a project can take anywhere from 2 months to 1 year to complete, depending on its complexity. Some projects where web or mobile applications need to be integrated with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, may take longer to complete.
How can I control the product development process?
A project manager is assigned to each project who communicates with you regularly, keeps you informed and answers your questions. The manager contacts you every week and sends you a weekly progress report. Also, once every 3-4 weeks (by agreement) we provide you with an up-to-date version of your project: a file for assembly on mobile devices or a link to a stand for web applications.
